Meryl streep are set to star together for the first time in mother-daughter roles in front of the cameras, the hollywood reporter said on thursday. Streep, 62 and roberts, 44, have signed on to star in the film adaptation of the darkly comic pulitzer and tony prize-winning play august: osage county, the report said. Double oscar winner streep will play a pill-popping matriarch while roberts will portray her rebellious daughter in the film, which is set to begin shooting later this year. . .
